Chesnara would like to ensure that its shareholders are wary of any suspicious or unexpected mail or telephone calls in relation to their shares.
Such communications may take various forms, including offers to buy shares at a discount or to sell your shares at a premium. They may sometimes imply the company making them has a connection with Chesnara. Those making them may claim to be from UK or overseas based ‘brokers’ who are both persuasive and persistent and who might even have professional websites to support their activities.
Such communications are not endorsed by Chesnara and we do not participate in such unsolicited communication programmes. The calls should be treated as scams and we encourage individuals who receive them to report them to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) so that they can be investigated. You are able to do this online at https://www.fca.org.uk/consumers/report-scam-unauthorised-firm
You can also report them to Action Fraud at https://www.actionfraud.police.uk/reporting-fraud at any time or by calling them on 0300 123 2040*.
If you do receive telephone calls, emails, letters from Chesnara or from companies claiming to be endorsed by Chesnara, and you are unsure if they are legitimate, please contact our registrars (Link Asset Services) for clarification on 0371 664 0300**.
